Anyone know anyone in the know how in regards to constructing homes? Particularly split homes down the middle (not sure what the proper term would be?).

There is some land out here in California I am interested in constructing on, which I believe will pay off very easily.

Currently doing some research on the interbutts.

Ahh, semi-detached homes. That's what they are called: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semi-detached

The more you know ---*

Ah, I support you. I'd like to build my own home some day.

I would build this. And be a hobbit. It's also very affordable to do (relatively speaking).

lol that's ace, haha.

Actually, after just a bit of research: apparently dome shaped houses are cheaper to construct.

And they have a more "organic" feel to them. Which I think is awesome. That is seriously my dream home. I would have a garden in the back and grow potatoes and tomatoes and whatnot.
