Anyone know where I can find a netbooks for dirtcheap? I tried ebay... usually they're only dirt cheap if they're pretty banged up... or pink ;p Not looking for used.... unless it was "hardly used" ;p
I'm talking around 100 to 240 bucks here... dirt cheap ;p... and fairly decent spec'd.
Want one to use along with Virgin's Broadband2Go usb stick :p (well, when I can't find interbutts)
or that one other stick with Verizon.
dirt cheap.
Hmm, probably not gonna happen :D
Perhaps it's best to wait when stores do some sort of sale/discount deals of the sort.
Did you check newegg at all? They usually have pretty good stuff at decent prices.
Thanks for pointing that out! Had completely forgotten about that site.
I found this a bit ago: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157154
299 for a decently spec'd machine... Although, a bit more than what I want to pay for to be honest... gonna look some more.
Ive got the same one and I have to say that its good.
But you have to keep in mind that these netbooks are for office work and internet. No games, no big renoise station and so on.
They are good, and its usefull to have one, but you can only use them as internet pron whores. :D
lol
Jeah, I've actually decided to hold back on them for the time being. I went in... and I didn't like the fact that everything was too tiny... i lowered the resolution, but didn't quite work out with the ones I tried.
I have to rethink :D
Anyone know where I can get a very cheap small laptop with no OS included?
how cheap?
Hah, good question... well... uhh, $300 to $450?
I'm not talking 17 inchers either. Something likle 13" to 15".
Well, I have a Dell Inspiron 1200 I'm kinda trying to get rid of. I'll straight up tell you it's not very good, but it depends on what you plan on using it for. I'd link you to some info but I'm on my phone.
I'm tellin' 'yall, Asus 901 eeepc is the way to go.
It's built tougher than it should be and it's CHEAP.
Jeaaaaah, but problem: The resolution size may be too high thus small for my taste.
The sister recently got a HP mini and i tried to lower the resolution (to make things bigger) and it looked funky as hell, not in a good way. So I can only conclude that the same thing will happen with the Asus 901, since they're roughly similar spec'd screen/resolution wise.
Hence, why I wanna try something a bit more up on the market, to get a screen capable of displaying things a bit bigger.
There are four different screenmodes and while two look odd, the others do not. Things look the same on my dell as the asus...just smaller.
I see.... well, idk. I think I have to see it to see if it really is to my liking, to be honest. But I'm pretty sure it's similar to the HP mini resolution, since they're the same size.
You have a Dell now?
What model? :p
INSPIRON 1545 BABY.
$600 WALMART LAPTOP FUCK THE WORLD!
Was going to get a macbook of some sort but then realized I'd get more for less if I went with dell. 100% satisfied, but it all depends on the user's needs of course.
Noiiiice.
Jeah, does ultimately.
Win7 i take? Full version?
Does it heat up a lot?
I like to point out Brad linked me this the other day:

And I think it might just be what I'm looking for... possibly. I have to delve more ;D
