Mmkay, BMP was waaay harder to get to be a glitchy mess, until I realized that I can just delete and add at will, unlike PCX [deleting/inserting would completely damage the file].

Took a picture I had of the oil spill [not mine], corrupted the shit out of it, with post processing in Photoshop.

Was trying to find the best format to corrupt images in. Most of the compressed formats don't seem to work, TIFF didn't work, but PCX was great.
Random stuff in a hex editor [keep away from the top of the file BTW, or else everything becomes pure noise] and a picture I took of my Game Boy Color results in this.

-play with linear interpolation, although it doesn't matter here-
